The Windsor Lions Club would like to congratulate the winners of the their 3RD Annual Christmas Decorating contest. Traditional category:1st place winner - 20 Water St. (Sherry Gladfelter) & 2nd place winner - 87 Schoolhouse Lane (Todd & Julia Stiles). The Lions Club would like to thank all residents who participated and made the Borough look more festive during the Christmas season!

Snow Removal:

Borough Ordinance requires that all residents remove snow and slush from sidewalks or gutters within 24 hours after the snow has stopped falling. It is important to remove snow, or at least clear a path wide enough for a person to pass, for the safety of all residents, especially children who use the sidewalks to wait for the school bus. Shoveling snow into the street is strictly prohibited. We also ask that you help to clear fire hydrants and storm gutters where possible.

Council members want to hear from you:

At the January 8th Council meeting (6:00 PM) Council members will begin to discuss projects for the upcoming year. Council members would like to get some feedback from residents on what they would like to see happening in the Borough. If you have suggestions for projects that will improve the Borough, please attend the January Council meeting to speak with Council members about this.

Borough Ordinance & Permits:

Residents who have a question, concern or complaint about a Borough Ordinance or to find out if a permit is required for a home improvement project should call the Codes Enforcement Officer, Bob Huska, at 717 578-3010.

Stormwater BMP Tour:

The York County Planning Commission and the York County Conservation District would like to invite you to take a tour, or a virtual tour, of the many different types of Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs). Stormwater management is hot topic. When many think of stormwater management, the typical large retention pond comes to mind. But there are so many other options available! This tour will take you around York County to see multiple types of BMPs, in a variety of settings. Many of these projects have been completed by Municipalities who are participating in a regional group effort to comply with MS4 requirements and to clean up the waters of York County.
